Businesses and employees will likely be expected to wear PPE such as masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer to keep the spread of COVID contained. Employers are also mandating temperature screenings when entering the workplace. Be prepared to have your temperature taken regularly to ensure safety.   

Safety Expectations

This may go without saying, but everyone is being extra cautious since COVID has happened. Employers are taking extra precautions with employees by providing staggered or shift scheduling, opportunities to work remotely if applicable and extensive cleaning procedures. Even with these safety protocols, the market is still anticipated to rise in the fall- creating an open and variable market.

The job market is anticipated to be booming later this fall. You need to position yourself in the market so you stand out to employers. Make sure your resume is in tip-top shape, as well as prepared interview questions and responses. When you are called for an interview, make sure to arrive early or prepare the virtual meeting ahead of time to prevent any technical difficulties.
