How Nesco Keeps You Safe on the Job

2020 has been a year of ups and downs; and safety has been one of the most important subjects though it all. Keeping you safe in the workplace is Nesco Resource’s top priority. COVID-19 has created many new dimensions of safety needs and precautions to be taken. At Nesco, we’re focused on providing you with tools and resources to keep yourself safe and healthy, and to reduce exposure in the workplace such as:

  • How we interact with you throughout the hiring process
  • Client check-ins to ensure safety in the workplace  

The Hiring Process  

First and foremost, our branch office teams are here to help you; let them be your resource. They can help you not only find your next opportunity, but also provide you with ways to stay safe and healthy. Our safety approach is different than other firms because we focus on preventing safety related issues rather than waiting until they are brought to the table. Nesco provides opportunities for remote access for Associates, including online I-9 and paperwork completion, to lower the need for direct in-person contact. We take COVID standards very seriously and have put into place protocols to keep you safe on the job. We offer remote screenings and interviews as well as provide associates with the proper safety items needed to complete their jobs. We’re also committed to social distancing and cleaning procedures in each branch to minimize any potential exposure.


Client Check-Ins

We want to ensure you are comfortable on your assignment. Nesco provides check-ins with you to see how you are doing and review any questions or concerns you may have. We also check in regularly with clients to ensure safety protocols and procedures are being followed. We focus on ensuring our clients and our candidates have the appropriate items they need to work safely while also being productive. The Nesco Safety Team is also focused on client check ins, to ensure best safety practices are being upheld. Our safety team promotes the use of:

  • Facial coverings
  • Social distancing
  • Frequent hand washing or sanitizer if washing is not immediately available
  • Staying home if you are ill
