Job Description

Nesco Resource is looking for a Business Development Manager for our client in central Connecticut. The BDM will be responsible for increasing business revenue through prospecting, acquisition of new accounts and service of existing accounts.


  • Visit customer sites on a scheduled basis to ensure needs are being exceeded & top level service received

  • Nurture established customer relationships to drive recurring business & meet annual targets

  • Identify and close new customer accounts to meet annual growth targets

  • Collect Voice of Customer to drive product offering expansion and promote new products & services to customers

  • Track all sales activity in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

  • History of success in business, sales, or Application Engineering

  • Demonstrated success rapidly building and maintaining relationships

  • Demonstrated success working with technical offerings

  • A history of excellence in communication, active listening, problem solving & a willingness to close

  • A history of, or demonstrated intrinsic drive to compete & win
