Position Description:



The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the Human Resources Manager.



This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas



: employee relations, onboarding, performance management, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, HR administration, training, and employment law compliance.



" Assists in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations



" Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements



" Assists in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs



" Assists in the development and implementation of new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience



" Ensures legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required



" Assists in talent acquisition and recruiting processes



" Promotes HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace



" Prepares paperwork, schedule, and facilitate new hire on-boarding process. Coordinates with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience



" Handles all administrative tasks for on-boarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance



" Gathers and analyzes data with HR metrics such as time to hire, absenteeism rates, and employee turnover rates



" Enhances job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and organizing team building activities.



" Helps organize training and development initiatives



" Provides effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters



" Assists in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies





Skills Required



" General knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations



" Experience in the administration of benefits, worker's compensation and other Human



" Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills



" Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality



" Demonstrated human resources experience preferably in a manufacturing environment " Proficiency in MS Office



" HRIS system experience and ability to learn new technical systems as needed



" Ability to work nights and weekends as required for production demands



Skills Preferred



" Knowledge of Workday

Experience Required 1-3 years

Experience Preferred

Education Required HS Diploma

Education Preferred Bachelor's degree in a business related discipline
