Job Description

Local manufacturing company is currently seeking a Hydrotest Technician for a full-time position. Hours are 1st shift, Mon-Thurs from 6am to 4:30pm with overtime available on most Fridays. 



Duties to include:



Identify products being hydrotested.

Select correct adapter to secure product in the test stand.

Mount part into test stand.

Check and verify quality standards for product being tested.

Record the product serial number and product number.

Load product on to pallet or cart for transfer to painting operation. 

Reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, quality documents, etc.




Qualified candidates will have:

HS Diploma or GED.

Previous experience in a hydrotesting role. 

Able to use and familiar with all types of hand, air, and power tools.  Also able to use pipe cutters/threaders and forklifts.

Good math skills.

The noise level within the immediate work environment is not excessive but ear protection within all production areas is provided. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and walk. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle, feel, climb or balance. These activities may occur at any time of the shift. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Assistance may be requested when lifting heavy objects.
