Day to day duties:
Work with the business teams who utilize the subscriptions and resources to understand their needs and to evaluate, identify and deploy optimal cloud solutions
Optimizing existing solutions for both performance and cost in line with best practices
Advise business teams on best practices to implement new cloud technologies
Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security
Identifying, analysing, and resolving application deployment issues
Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements
Work with the Cloud Architect to define Sensia's cloud strategy and standards
Develop and deploy effective Azure cloud architectures, utilising standardised deployment tools
Execute the hands-on implementation of proposed solutions and provide technical guidance to teams during the solutions' development and deployment phases
Ensure adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
Collaborate and partner with client IT teams in accordance with agreed governance

Top 3 skills MUST have:
Experience in network architecture, including VNet, VPN, and ExpressRoute.
Solid understanding of Azure services, including FrontDoor, Application Gateway and Logic Apps.
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Years of experience required: Minimum of 6 years in a cloud engineering role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms.
Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or other relevant technical field
Computer knowledge required to perform duties: Yes
