Responsibilities:

  • Lead and provide strategic direction to ensure timely and quality-focused delivery of technical products.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous enhancement, and agile methodologies within the development teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline and improve development workflows, leveraging automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and other DevOps practices.
  • Manage the deployment and upkeep of both infrastructure and applications within cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) using infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems for production environments, ensuring system availability and quick response to any operational issues.
  • Administer and maintain DevOps tools, processes, and platforms, including version control (e.g., Git), build automation (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI), configuration management (e.g., Chef, Puppet), and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance with relevant standards and integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5 years of experience across software development, IT operations, or DevOps functions,
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Deep understanding of DevOps principles, such as CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and container-based environments.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and associated services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
  • Familiar with DevOps tools and workflows, including source control systems (e.g., Git), build and deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI), configuration automation (e.g., Chef, Puppet), and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on solving complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
