Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced L2 Helpdesk Technician to assist MSP end users with a variety of tickets and troubleshoot requests supporting the EST time zone on a remote basis for an MSP. 

This is a contract opportunity with a
possibility of being considered for a full-time role. 

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Level 2 Help Desk Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential technical assistance and support for software-related issues to approximately 70-75 end users. You will troubleshoot a variety of problems, including operating system issues, connectivity problems, and application support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve user inquiries related to operating system issues, printing problems, Outlook, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Perform password resets and assist with email account management.
  • Document all support interactions and resolutions accurately in our ticketing system.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with end users to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Provide support for software installations and updates.
  • Assist users in troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and software updates to enhance support quality.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role (Level 1 or Level 2).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and other MS applications).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to document processes and troubleshooting steps clearly and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
