What You'll Do

  • Design & Innovate (65%): Lead the design, build, and setup of custom machinery and jigs that optimize mass production processes. You'll work hands-on with 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) to ensure equipment designs improve efficiency, quality, and cycle times.
  • Research & Development (20%): Investigate new production methods and create solutions that keep us ahead of the curve in manufacturing technology.
  • Support & Optimize (10%): Partner with production and maintenance teams to reduce downtime and train staff on new equipment, helping us meet production goals.
  • Continuous Improvement (5%): Implement and modify designs to keep equipment up to date, while driving innovation in machinery for new production models.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience & Expertise: With at least 5 years of experience designing machinery and tooling for mass production environments, you're an expert in understanding the needs of a fast-paced production floor.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Creo preferred), Microsoft Office, and a working knowledge of basic computer hardware. Familiarity with electrical circuit and pneumatic drawings is a plus.
  • Leadership: You'll mentor and guide the team, helping prioritize projects and ensuring deadlines are met.
Your Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Hands-On Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing machinery in a mass production environment.
  • Problem-Solving Attitude: You're always looking for ways to innovate and streamline processes, and you're not afraid to get hands-on in solving production challenges.
