We are seeking a Machine Operator for a local plastics company, responsible for operating blow molding machines to produce high-quality plastic containers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor plastics machinery to meet production goals.
- Start up machines from a cold condition, ensuring containers meet quality specifications.
- Clear jams and restart machines as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Preferred Skills:
- 1-2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment (blow mold experience preferred).
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic mechanical terminology and hand tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
