Job Title: Payroll Automation Specialist
Location: Rio West E Bldg (PHX-RWE1)
Job Overview:
Join our Payroll Automation Team within the Finance Division, where you'll play a key role in gathering business requirements, performing testing, implementation, and documentation of payroll and related business processes. Your efforts will directly impact payroll systems and the general ledger.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and document business requirements related to payroll and other business functions.
- Analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources to create comprehensive documentation such as business requirements, process flows, test plans, test scripts, and results.
- Assist in the development and execution of testing for payroll and downstream systems.
- Serve as a representative in meetings, providing both written and verbal communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the auditing team by identifying and documenting internal controls.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field; or equivalent experience and training in payroll processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Payroll, Finance, or Accounting.
- Proven experience with business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modeling.
- Strong analytical skills and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- SAP experience is required.
Skills & Certifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience in system design and implementation.
- Ability to interpret and understand multiple labor agreements.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to perform under pressure and manage changing priorities with minimal supervision.
