DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Human Resources Manager will serve as a business partner to assigned clients and consult with all levels and management on HR-related matters, including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, immigration, benefits and compensation planning. In addition, this role may also manage a team of HR professionals including HR managers, HR representatives and receptionist.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Serves as a business partner to assigned clients and provides consulting on Human Resource-related issues including employee relations, performance management, recruiting/work force planning, career development and salary planning.

Works closely with recruiting specialist/manager to provide recruiting support to assigned clients. This may include sourcing, participation in job fairs, diversity outreach programs, interviewing and working within the Applicant Tracking System to ensure accurate recordkeeping.

Implements, leads and facilitates HR initiatives and projects.

Facilitates training on employee development, coaching and other management topics.

Assists Benefits Manager with disability and FMLA communications. Provides guidance and support to management and employees on benefit issues (eligibility, status changes, COBRA, leaves of absence and open enrollment).

Manages annual performance management process by consulting with managers and employees regarding process/tool.

Mediates employee concerns/complaints. Leads/conducts investigations and manages/facilitates corrective actions.

Responsible for complying with federal, state and local requirements including the Affirmative Action Plan; files EEO-1, 4212 reports annually; maintains other related records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Human Resources or related field - Required

Master Degree (MS/MA) Human Resources or related - Preferred

EXPERIENCE:

10 years or more in Progressive HR experience
5 years or more in a manufacturing environment.
