As the CNC Operator you would be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture parts.

Shift: 1 st (7 am to 330 pm)
Salary: $18 to $22 based on experience (pay increase once hired in)

Duties/Responsibilities
- Retrieves and loads program into machine, reviews program requirements (may write program or sub-routines as needed).
- Sets up jobs by retrieving and loading tools, positions product according to program.
- Performs program adjustments as needed.
- Verifies and documents product conformance to specification, per process.
- Sharpens or reworks tooling as needed.
- Performs de-burring and/or de-magnetizing of semi-finished and finished product.
- Detects and reports defective material or unsafe conditions to the Department Supervisor.
- Performs preventive maintenance and cleaning tasks on equipment used.
- Back-up for other departments and other duties as needed.
- Enters process data into shop terminals as required.
Skills/Qualifications
- 3 or more years' experience working with CNC machines (Mills and Lathes) in a shop environment.
- Prior threading, boring and gono gouges experience a plus
- Ability to read and understand drawings. Understanding of GD&T is a plus.
- Ability to use basic gages to inspect parts (Must have your own set of micrometers and calipers)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Will be subject to a pre-employment screening.
