Nesco Resource has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate / General Maintenance role at a large distribution company in Brunswick. We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals ready for a long-term position with growth potential.
About the Role:
In this position, you'll split your time between warehouse operations (60%) and maintenance duties (40%), supporting two local facilities. You’ll assist with receiving, fulfillment, and shipping, while also performing general maintenance to keep our facilities running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Work at both distribution centers (2945 & 2811) as needed.
- Handle receiving, unloading trucks, and stocking material.
- Band/wrap freight orders and manage activities in our Warehouse Management System.
- Perform light maintenance (changing light bulbs, recycling, trash removal, etc.).
- Assist with facility checks and equipment maintenance, helping prepare for audits.
- Use a company vehicle for deliveries and interoffice tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a fast-paced facility.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of warehouse functions (receiving, fulfillment, shipping).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate heavy equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate computer and math skills, plus a clean driving record.
