Job Description:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll contribute to decision-making and strategic planning of the organization by setting up standards and developing tools to analyze and automate the delivery of data. Through your analysis, you’ll present the data to decision makers in an engaging and dynamic way that is easy to understand, while helping to establish standards for generating reports throughout various departments. You will be partnering with IT, Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing, Executives, Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, etc.… teams to ensure that your data analysis findings are incorporated into business processes. Your analysis will involve complex datasets to identify inefficiencies, trends and opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing and maintaining a Power BI and PowerApps environment, including generating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support organizational needs.
- Collaborating with key decision makers to understand business requirements and figure out dynamic ways to present the data to various teams.
- Making sure that data is accurate and available in order to make strategic decisions.
- Leading data analysis and visualization projects to aid in corporate strategy planning
- Developing standards for deploying and developing reports
- Working with numerous data sources, including ERP, MS SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Dataverse, etc…
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; is preferred, but not required. Relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, collect, analyze, and roll out information.
- Expertise in writing SQL queries, working within data warehouses, data models, and BI tools.
- Solid communication and problem solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into terms that less technical team members can understand.
