Sheet Metal Multifunctional Operator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Sheet Metal Multifunctional Operator to join our team. In this role, you will split your time between sandblasting (approximately 50%) and assisting with press machinery, assembly, and other shop tasks (approximately 50%). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sandblasting operations to prepare materials and surfaces.
- Assist with operating press machinery, including punch presses and press brakes.
- Contribute to assembly, spot welding, and other production tasks as needed.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to complete various tasks.
- Handle routine paperwork, such as in-process inspections and work order transactions.
- Adhere to all Quality Management System (QMS) protocols to maintain production standards.
- Be flexible and willing to rotate between different roles within the shop based on operational needs.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in the following areas is a plus, but not required:
- Sandblasting
- Punch Press
- Press Brake
- Spot Welding
- Assembly
- Welding
- Machining
Requirements:
- Previous sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks in a dynamic shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- $18 - $22 an Hour (Based on Exp.)
- 7 AM - 3:30 PM, Mon. - Fri.
- 3:30 PM - 12 AM, Mon. - Fri.
