Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

The Tool Room Supervisor works in conjunction with engineers to review current production methods
and tools and make recommendations to improve productivity.

Design and build complex tools, fixtures, work cells, and test stations to support production
productivity initiatives.

Support and maintain all existing and future tools and fixtures for production to ensure proper
function and minimal downtime.

Provide guidance, direction, and leadership to the tool room team by assigning, and coaching
employees

Provide engineering with advice and support on all aspects of tool design and product
development.

Must be able to design and build complex tools and fixtures.
Experience working from blueprints and sketches is a must.
Interact and support engineering with prototype parts.

Core Skill Requirements:
Excellent communication skills required both written and verbal.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks required.
PC proficiency required (e-mail, MS Office,)

Work Experience Requirements:
10 years' total experience in a tool room with demonstrated leadership skills and abilities.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principals is necessary to drive productivity through tooling
towards our company goals.

Must have hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly.
Need extensive exposure in all around conventional and CNC machining, Lathe and Mills, Drills and
hand tools.

Experience working in a union environment a plus.

Education Requirements:
Must have Technical Trade School or equivalent experience.
Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline preferred.
