The Inspector is required to inspect sheets of wood veneer for imperfections and damage, and repair all areas needed using a hand sander and wood putty.Responsibilities:
- Evaluates self-work to ensure compliance with work instructions and standards.
- Inspects the veneer sheets for specification conformance.
- Must be able to meet and maintain acceptable production levels.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Completes the necessary production forms.
- Understands lockout-tagout safety procedure.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed
- safety regulations.
- Assists in other areas as needed
- Must be team-oriented
- Time management skills in order to maintain acceptable production levels
- Must be able to lift/and or move up to 35 lbs.
