Description:
As a Laboratory Technician onsite at the *** Springdale R&D center (Pittsburgh) - Performance Testing Laboratory, you will support new product development and part qualification for *** Automotive customers. As part of this role, you will perform equipment verification, catalog daily conditions checks, and assist with calibrations for our Automotive customers.

Responsibilities:
•Maintain a safe working environment, wear all required PPE, and follow lab safety protocols.
•Perform daily testing, calibration, measuring, and analysis.
•Perform daily lab maintenance activities and cleanups.
•Assist in physical and corrosion testing for OEMS by following specific test method procedures.
•Perform wet and instrumental analysis for electrodeposition customers by following standard test method procedures.
•Maintain documentation and standards required for ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 certification.
Qualifications:
•HS diploma, GED, or similar is required.
•0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or laboratory environment
•Previous experience in a coatings/paint laboratory or similar testing environment is ideal.
•Basic proficiency with word and basic proficiency with Excel is required.
•Demonstrated ability to take careful measurements with laboratory tools
•Able to lift up to 15lbs regularly.
