Leading test planning including identifying resources and estimating efforts. Enlist the assistance of mechanical and electrical engineering experts as necessary to ensure coverage, stability, and performance of the product.
Collaborating with other Test Engineers and Lab Technicians to execute test plans and perform routine analysis using vested methods and technologies.
Creating and revising test procedures; creating and updating test reports and related documentation.
Collaborating with Mechanical and Electrical engineers to design and construct test rigs, instrumentation systems, and test software.
Participating in and contributing to project and program planning and status reviews such as release planning and test strategy planning discussions.
May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments. Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals
Required:
Have 1 years of experience in an electronics lab environment.
Have 2 years of test or quality engineering experience.
Have experience using multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc. for conducting testing
Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar.
2 years or more experience in the field or in a related area
