Tool and Die Maker - Precision Engineering Specialist

Are you a skilled Tool and Die Maker with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? We have exciting opportunities for two openings—one focused on mold experience and another on stamping experience. Join us to play a crucial role in designing, constructing, and repairing high-quality tools and dies used in cutting-edge manufacturing processes.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and Build: Construct, develop, and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and other precision components. Produce tooling from detailed drawings and I.G.E.S. files through final fit and assembly.
  • Precision Craftsmanship: Ensure tools and dies meet exacting specifications with a high level of precision and technical expertise. Use a variety of tools and equipment, including CNC machines, mills, lathes, grinding machines, and more.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair: Resolve issues during the tool repair process, working independently and with maintenance personnel to ensure correct operation and repair of tools and special machines.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work with engineering to provide sketches and support the creation of detailed drawings for new tools and equipment. Notify supervisors of issues impacting cost and timing.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Journeyman status or 8 years of relevant experience required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM) and machinery (CNC machines, mills, lathes, etc.).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to measure and machine parts to print tolerances, with a focus on delivering high-quality, precise tooling.
  • Flexibility: Open to various shifts—please let us know your preferences.

  • Blueprints, comparators, standard and special gauges
  • CNC machines, mills, lathes, grinding machines, drills, heat treating equipment
