Welder, 2nd shift, *** 5an hour. MIG Weld 0.035 and 0.045 hard wire.

DESCRIPTION
Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will monitor production output and ensure that products meet customer specifications and quality expectations. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, fabricating and repairing metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate weld techniques and monitor assembly and continuous process improvement at the site to address safety, production, and adherence to quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrated ability to follow direction, read weld symbols, schematics, and blueprints.
• An ability to select, measure, cut and join appropriate metals to specifications.
• Prepare metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.
• Regularly clean and inspect welding equipment and tools.
• Safe operation of forklift and all other lift assist and tools.
• Test each assembly to ensure proper fit and function.
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
• Accurately track and log assembly time sheets for each project.
• Properly identify and document QMS and department procedure.
• Maintain work area for cleanliness.
• Adherence to all safety standards and plant rules.
• Test strength of each join during and after project completion.
• Liaise with leadership to report issues and continuously improve processes.
• Utilize tape measures, calipers, squares, micrometers, and protractors.
• Safe operation of the forklift, scissor lift and all other lift assist and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Technical education is a plus.
• Must pass *** weld test.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 40 pounds.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is a plus

WE VALUE
• 3 years of experience in industrial assembly. (Class 1)
• 1 year experience in industrial assembly. (Class 2)
• Mechanical aptitude, mathematical and problem-solving ability
• An ability to troubleshoot and multi-task on projects.
• Working knowledge and experience using hand tools.

MIG Weld 0.045 and 0.035 hard wire.
TIG
Flux
Carbon steel, Stainless, and Aluminum.
