Daily Snapshot:
Team Leadership and Development:- Develop and lead an effective shift maintenance team to meet department goals
- Plan, organize, and direct work team members
- Select staff, coach performance, and conduct EP&D sessions
- Provide training, development opportunities, and ongoing support for maintenance shift leads
- Focus on new employee development, career growth, continuing education, and safety/health issues
- Ensure the reliable operation of departmental equipment
- Implement process changes to improve reliability and reduce costs
- Collect, record, and analyze data for decision-making
- Conduct periodic reviews of the qualification program and modify as needed
- Ensure preventive maintenance programs and cost control systems are established and sustained
- Provide support for Equipment and Design Engineering as required
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental training programs
- Assist in developing and implementing departmental safety policies and procedures
- Respond to emergency situations and resolve problems
- Assist in preparing departmental budgets and monitor operating costs as needed
- Provide direction and participate in maintaining a clean, organized work area
- Ensure quality and continuous improvement within the job scope
- Fulfill responsibilities as directed by the VP of Operations
