Job Summary: Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot plastic injection machines, associated equipment, and infrastructure, ensuring safety and technical compliance with equipment and facility standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety, maintaining a safe work area and reporting issues.
- Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues using manuals, technical documents, and vendor resources.
- Basic understanding of IML and Heat Transfer Machine setup and troubleshooting.
- Read mechanical schematics and diagnose electro-mechanical issues.
- Troubleshoot non-functioning components like servos, sensors, and control systems.
- Work with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic devices.
- Prepare work areas and ensure tools are functional.
- Resolve equipment problems and demonstrate proactive maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team leaders and supervisors.
- Maintain good housekeeping using 5S principles.
- Cooperate with coworkers to maintain a positive work environment.
- Attend required training as scheduled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift, bend, climb, and reach.
