Duties:

  1. Advanced Soldering Techniques: Apply advanced soldering techniques to assemble high-precision frequency control devices, including oscillators, filters, and frequency synthesizers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  2. Component Placement and Calibration: Accurately place and calibrate electronic components, such as quartz crystals, surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices, and specialized frequency control ICs, according to engineering specifications and tight tolerances.
  3. Soldering Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain specialized soldering equipment, including reflow soldering systems and selective soldering machines, to achieve precise solder joint formation and minimize thermal impact on sensitive components.
  4. Fine-Pitch Soldering: Proficiently handle fine-pitch soldering of components with tight lead spacing, ensuring a high level of precision in assembly work.
  5. Quality Control: Implement stringent quality control measures, including visual inspections, solder joint analysis, and functional testing, to verify conformance to industry standards and product specifications.
  6. Rework and Repair: Perform skilled rework and repair tasks on frequency control devices, addressing any soldering defects or performance issues while maintaining the integrity of delicate components.
  7. Collaboration with Engineering: Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand and implement design changes, improvements, and enhancements to the soldering and assembly processes.
  8. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of soldering processes, calibration procedures, and quality control records, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality management systems.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing insights and recommendations to enhance soldering processes, efficiency, and overall product quality.
  10. Adherence to Standards:Understands all aspects of Sn63 solder assembly including: Thru-hole components, Recognize J-STD-001 standard regarding materials, methods, and acceptance criteria for producing solder electrical and electronic assemblies.
