Work within a cross-functional team of engineers and scientists to deliver on
agreed milestones for new product development, early phase evaluations and
legacy products.
Perform FTIR and SEM analyses on samples, including helping train lab personnel on instrument.
Work with minimal supervision from Scientists and Manager.
Ensure reports are signed and sent out in a timely fashion.
Check that lab SDS's and chemicals are recorded and tracked internally.
Track SVHCs and order standards of identified SVHCs to confirm identification by submitting standards to lab for testing. 40
Comply with the laboratory management practices set-up by the laboratory manager including S&N global health, safety and environmental practices.
Work within the framework of international standards (e.g. ISO 10993 and ISO 17025) and ensure compliance.
Assist laboratory team to create and update work instructions for safe and effective use of equipment in the laboratory.
Operate FTIR and SEM, gain hands-on experience on other techniques such as HPLC when time allows. 40
Perform administrative functions as necessary (reporting, routing for docusign,
filing of reports).
