Job Overview:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for assembling components and machinery integral to oilfield operations. This involves following technical instructions closely to build equipment precisely and efficiently.
Assignment Duration: 0–6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly Tasks: Perform hands-on assembly of parts and equipment based on technical drawings and specifications, using a range of manual and power tools to achieve accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Check assembled components to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements, addressing any discrepancies as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside engineering and production teams to troubleshoot assembly issues, share insights, and suggest process improvements.
- Safety & Organization: Adhere to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and contribute to a well-organized, safe workspace. Assist with training of new team members and support ongoing improvements in assembly procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in mechanical assembly, ideally within oilfield services or manufacturing.
- Technical Literacy: Skilled at reading technical plans and using assembly diagrams, with a high degree of accuracy in tool handling.
- Precision & Communication: Strong focus on detail, precision in tasks, and effective communication for teamwork. Familiarity with safety guidelines and proactive in maintaining safe work habits.
- Adaptability: Able to adjust to shifts in priorities and tasks within a fast-paced work setting.
