Working title: Shipping Specialist

Shift: 8 hours/day 7am-3:#0pm

Needed skills:
Shipping Specialist
FedEx software experience.
International shipping experience and customs knowledge.
Freight shipment experience.

Major Job Responsibilities
Provide freight quote as requested
Generate Proforma Invoice as requested
Prepare shipping and export documentation required for international shipments.
Coordinate with sales/customer service team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers
Ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies
Communicate with sales/service and other functional areas to resolve customer problems in a timely manner
Provide support to Sales/customer service team
Perform other tasks within the SRI team, as and when needed
Maintain international customer profile and relevant customer information as well as task specific SOP's
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
5 years' experience in a related field
FedEx shipping software experience.
International shipping experience and knowledge of customs requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Preferably DOT/DG certified
Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work
Good collaboration and teamwork abilities
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and
outside of the organization.
High School diploma or GED required, with a college degree preferred
