Seeking an Instrumentation Field Technician skilled in flow meters, vibration monitoring, precision measurements, and sampling techniques, particularly within municipal water systems. In this role, you'll manage the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of advanced instrumentation, ensuring accurate data and smooth operations for critical water management systems. Your technical expertise will help continue setting the bar for exceptional service and reliability.
Salary: $62,400-$83,200/yr
Schedule: M-F Days (50-60% travel in NY state)
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation systems, including flow meters, vibration monitors, and samplers.
- Calibrate and verify flow meters and vibration monitoring equipment to meet water industry standards.
- Conduct field measurements and sampling , ensuring accuracy and compliance with municipal water system requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to understand needs and apply effective solutions.
- Document field service activities meticulously, including calibration, sampling results, and inspection findings.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all service processes.
- 2 years of field experience with instrumentation in municipal water systems, including flow meters, vibration monitors, and samplers.
- Proficient in instrumentation principles, calibration techniques, vibration monitoring, and measurement systems.
- Strong skills in reading schematics, blueprints, and interpreting technical documentation.
- Valid driver's license , travel 50%-60% for on-site services around New York state. Company van. Home on weekends.
