Hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
Job Description:
Customer Service Representative will enter orders and provide product information to designated customers. The Representative will work with their assigned distribution center with any inventory counts to maintain correct lot and inventory information. Customer Service will work with Purchasing on Inventory adjustments and report to VP Operations.
Duties:
- Efficiently enter customer orders and customer invoices into Synergy ERP
- Effectively respond to customers concerning all product information
- Effectively communicate with Sales Representatives/Customers to resolve issues
- Ability to defuse tense situations to promote a cooperative environment
- Ability to build effective customer relationships
- Ability to assign freight carriers to orders and track deliveries for customers
- High school diploma required
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a customer service environment preferred
- Solid computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong data entry speeds
- EDI experience - Preferred
- Ability to learn information on products and develop an extensive knowledge base on all product lines
- Understanding of freight policy and lead times
- Effective communication, organizational skills and a critical thinker
- Willingness and ability to participate as a team player on a daily basis
