JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Possess strong written, verbal, and presentation facilitator skills
Ability to effectively communicate project (sprint?) future state vision and impact to business strategy
Assesses and may coach team members to both strengths and developmental needs; fosters and encourages open & honest feedback; learns from feedback (setbacks, mistakes) to drive personal improvement
Identifies and assesses risks & issues; performs impact analysis and prioritization;
manages identified risks & issues to resolution by removing impediments that prevent team from completing the work negotiated for a given sprint; provides effective reporting of impact and status
3 years of scrum master delivery experience, including additional 2 years of agile project experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) Certification preferred, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification plus 3 years of experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support squad engineering practices and long-term integrity & viability of the codebase. Promote a general "shift-left " development approach, facilitate pair- and mob-programming and automated testing as necessary.
Foster self-organization and collaborative Agile/Scrum team; support the Prod/Exp Owner by maintaining focus on the agreed sprint goals and prioritize outcomes over outputs at the product and sprint backlog levels.
Monitor, improve, and innovate within the scrum process and help to solve/remove impediments in the development process; recognize and remove external distractions.
Help drive the adoption and implementation of Agile practices across the enterprise; lead and coach employees from various functions to create new processes, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team.
Active participation in the Continuous Delivery Community of Practice to help drive continuous improvement of the agile discipline.
Lead and coach the scrum team and apply appropriate Agile/Scrum principles to create or enhance the timely delivery of valuable products; work with Prod/Exp Owner to evaluate team cohesion and effectiveness and provide recommended changes as needed.
