RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
· Implement OHS policies and programs.
- Notify supervisor of unsafe conditions/acts
- Assist with incident/accident investigations.
- Adhere to all the rules and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments/JHAs.
- Enforce preventative measures.
- Assure all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations.
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.
- All other duties assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES – Safety
- Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state and federal safety policies and regulations.
- Assist with safety and health training.
- Perform Safety audits and conduct safety inspections.
- To help ensure that all our employees go home safely at the end of their working day.
- Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics.
- Maintain safety equipment supply and availability.
- Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety.
- Excellent knowledge of legislations and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Proficient in MS Office
- Working knowledge of safety management information system
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
3 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or role with demonstrated safety responsibilities.
