Nesco Resource is sourcing for Pack Operators for our client in Macomb, MI.

Shift: 6:00am to 3:00pm

Pay rate: $17 per hour


Summary:
Employee will be sitting at an ergonomically safe sorting table. Parts will be inspected and sorted on table top and pushed into a box. Visually Inspect/Sort bolts and brackets that weigh less than 1/2 lb. each. Drop inspected parts into a box (that sits on scale). Once box reaches maximum weight, box is taped.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials and requirements for sort.
  • May need to open containers.
  • Parts will be visually inspected and sorted on ergonomically safe table top and pushed/dropped into a box.
  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled per sort and recorded as required.
  • Assembles boxes.
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, boxes or other containers as instructed.
  • Loads materials onto pallets or trays.
  • May need to operate manual pallet jack to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
  • Keeps work area clean.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
