Pallet Builder hours: 7:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday
Job Description:
- Cut and build custom pallets and crates
- Read spec's, cut or assemble based on specifications
- Cut wood using industrial saw equipment
- Assemble pallets using pneumatic nail guns
- Help keep manufacturing facility clean, organized, and a place where we all want to work
- Use a tape measure and be able to add/subtract fractions
- Work in manufacturing facility, fans but no a/c, boiler type heat supplied in winter season
- Dress is casual, steel toe boots required (all safety gear supplied by employer except steel toe boots. 50% reimbursement program in place for full-time employees)
- Comfortable working in Fast pace environment
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 – 70 lbs. on a regular basis
- Requires quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
- Observance of all safety rules and regulations
- Willing to work in a labor intensive environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willing to work overtime as needed (first shift employment only)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
