Location: Canonsburg PA
Shift: Weekends Daylight Friday-Sunday 6:00am -6:00pm 36 hours but will be paid for 40 hours.
Position Overview:
The Machine Operator will use various tools set up by machinists to fabricate metal and non-metal parts to meet engineering specifications. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate & Monitor: Run production operations on tools such as milling machines, lathes, band saws, punch presses, and drill presses.
- Quality Control: Use precision instruments like calipers to verify quality.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety rules and company policies.
Additional Duties:
- Perform basic fixture setups.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 years in machine operation preferred.
- Skills: Ability to read drawings, understand shop math, and communicate effectively with team members.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in manufacturing with safety gear.
- Standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally, and up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Good hand coordination and close-range vision for detailed work
