Overview:
Join our team as a **Medical Device Production Associate** where you'll play a crucial role in creating life-saving medical devices, including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs). In this hands-on role, you'll work within a close-knit manufacturing cell, contributing to the assembly, testing, and quality assurance of high-quality medical devices.

Responsibilities:
  • Production & Assembly: Under guided supervision, perform assembly, repair, and testing of medical devices, ensuring top-notch quality and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all job documentation is accurate and up to date. Maintain precise records to support product traceability and quality requirements.
  • Communication: Share ideas, identify challenges, and propose solutions effectively with all levels of manufacturing management in both written and verbal form.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to refine production processes to meet quality and profitability goals.
  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices. Follow best practices in quality and environmental management systems.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Skills:
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Familiarity with electronic data collection and computer software packages.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle and maneuver small components.
  • Capacity to make sound decisions independently.
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to handle small components, maintain focus on detailed tasks, and work efficiently within a manufacturing cell environment.

  • Our work environment has strict hygiene and safety standards to maintain product integrity. Specific dress requirements include:
  • Non-shedding, clean, and contamination-free clothing.
  • Closed-toe, low-heeled shoes with socks/stockings; no open-toe or open-heel shoes.
  • Lab coat coverage for clothing from the waist up.
  • No makeup, jewelry, or artificial nails, and minimal personal fragrances to ensure safety and cleanliness.
