The production clerk is responsible for scheduling, processing, and delivering work orders as well as drawings to each department. This also includes rescheduling or expediting existing work orders. The production clerk also maintains the Tool and Supply Room. This includes monitoring employee usage of supplies along with the reordering of all supplies.
Nesco Resource is now hiring for a 1st shift Material Handler at a manufacturer in Gastonia.
Responsibilities:
- Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using equipment
- Loads and unloads materials
- Stocks incoming and returned materials
- Pack goods following a specific set of instructions/procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred
- Have familiarity with scanning equipment
- Stand on concrete floor and work in cold, heat, or humidity for long periods of time
- Crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for lifting
- Team-work oriented attitude
Pay:
Starting at $16/hr. We offer a range of benefits including 401k, healthcare, dental and vision while you are working towards your permanent employment.
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am to 11:00 am overtime will vary
