Warehouse Associate
1st shift - Monday-Friday Approx.7am – 3:30pm This may change after the associate starts working
Must have Shipping, Receiving, Cycle
Counting, General Warehouse Knowledge, Repacking goods to ship to customers.

The
Warehouse Associate position is responsible for a
variety of warehouse duties including packing, pulling/checking customer
orders,
replenishment, shipping and receiving materials, and material handling
and completing all required paperwork in accordance to company policies and
procedures.





Essential Functions



Unloads
goods and material received, enters appropriate information into system, labels
and locates material.



Separates customer orders. Pulls and stages
orders. Repacks material if required to meet customer specifications. As required, makes boxes, packs, labels
and locates materials.



Ensures
all products are properly labeled.



Prepare items for shipping.



Unpacks, examines and routes
incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds
with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Receives and processes all
defective parts returned for replacement or credit.



Operate forklift.



Participates
in cycle counting. Enters and verifies information. Researches and makes
adjustments as necessary.



Inventory.



Process daily shipping and receiving
log.



Maintain inventory of shipping
materials and supplies.



Follows
and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains
departmental housekeeping standards.



- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions
to the department supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:





Education and Experience



At
Least Two Years Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse Experience

Valid
Driver s License and Good Driving Record

US High School diploma, GED equivalency or
relevant experience

Computer
Literate

International
Shipping is a plus

Forklift Experience




Use of RF Scanners

The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Be
aware that in this position you will be working with powdered colorants and
more times than not, you will be grimy and dirty at the end of the day.

While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, see (20/40 vision),
and hear sufficiently to perform assigned tasks.

This
position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling,
stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.

The
employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

Be
able to lift, push or pull up to 200 lbs. with the aid of equipment.

Be
able to stand/walk for 10-hour shift.

Be
able to communicate orally and in writing.

The employee must be able to
read at a level of comprehension sufficient to meet job requirements.
