Designs develops operates and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering scientific and manufacturing requirements. Applies the appropriate standards processes procedures and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and produces such as laboratory simulations systems airplane flight control and display systems avionics mechanical and electrical systems weapons armament commercial and military aircraft systems mobile and ground-based defense systems space systems and other systems and applications of this nature. interfaces with customers suppliers application users and other technical and support personnel. The engineer will be responsible for software requirements, design and development for embedded Missile software subsystems. The candidate will work within a Scrum Agile development process and collaborate with team members.
Required Skills:
• Active Secret with investigation in last 5 years
• Ability to work full-time on-site
• Embedded Software Development experience (missile software development preferred)
• Embedded C (version 11 or higher preferred)
• UML/Modeling experience
