Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Leverages understanding of materials and processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Works within a model based engineering environment (3DX/iBASEt). Position requires periodic travel.
Must have extensive experience in aerospace propulsion systems operations, installation, testing, trouble shooting and maintenance.
Must have a background in aircraft jet engines.
Must have the personal attributes conducive to work within an IPT (Integrated Product Team).
Must have the ability, technical background and confidence to work independently and make critical program decisions.
Preferred experience with complete integrated air vehicle designs, build and ground/flight test.

Aircraft Sub-systems assembly and integration
On vehicle troubleshooting of aircraft sub-systems
Jet engine integration, service and maintenance familiarity
Aircraft structures assembly
Manufacturing assembly work instruction authoring and work planning
Hands-on production floor support (Direct ownership and support of specific manufacturing operations as well as interface with touch-labor employees)
Reviews and redlines of engineering technical drawings and models

Composite Fabrication and Composite Assembly
Working with CNC Machine Operators
Experience with LO (Low Observable) composite assemblies
STEM type degree
