Duties/Responsibilities
- Visually and mechanically inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
- Detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules.
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Repairs and replaces Pumps, valves, solenoids, etc.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment including building and grounds maintenance.
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
- Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Starting pay is $20.00-$25.00/hour based on experience
- Positions available on 1st shift, Monday - Friday from 6am - 230pm.
- Must be available to work OT as needed.
- This is a temp to hire or direct hire opportunity with the company.
Skills/Qualifications
- 3 years of Machine Maintenance experience in an Industrial setting.
- Experience with 3 phase 480v electrical, mechanical troubleshooting, reading schematics, and PLC is a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
