Our client, a leader in designing and manufacturing high-end displays for the beauty industry, is seeking a Project Manager to add to their team. If you are looking for a home to learn and grow then this could be the opportunity for you. This position is onsite 5 days a week from 8:30am - 5:30pm.

Project Management:

  • Ensures that a launch meeting with the production team is prepared immediately.
  • Ensures timelines are maintained throughout the project.
  • Ensures that consistent follow-up with engineering for drawings and type safety.
  • Reviews engineering drawings and compares to estimates prior to sending to the customer.
  • Coordinate the prototype, including ordering any specific materials needed.
  • Ensures own prototypes are made to specifications.
  • Launches detailed and accurate BOM;
  • Considers packaging as soon as a prototype if approved.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the status of the project at any given point or phase of the project.
  • Consistently follows up with in-house purchasing to ensure timely arrival of materials needed, communicates same to team.
  • Consistently follows up with clients to ensure timely receipt of any/all materials provided directly to us from the client--i.e. photos, graphics, factices.
  • Effectively coordinates shipping with customers.

Quality Control:

  • Works with production to set QA/QC standards before the project reaches the assembly line.
  • Consistently monitors production quality and demonstrates the ability to identify quality issues during production.

Sales Support/Customer Support:

  • Demonstrates willingness and is available to assist with any customer support issues/concerns.
  • Responds to customer inquiries promptly.
  • Communicates the status of the project with the customer through all phases when requested.

Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Previous experience working with an ERP system a plus (EPICOR)
  • Highly organized; attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates ability to multitask.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize jobs/work based on changing timelines for incoming projects.
  • Effectively forecasts changes in schedule depending on the utilization of production facilities.
  • Demonstrates a sense of organization in all phases of the project. Keeps accurate records and information.
  • Maintains electronic files per company guidelines and said files are easily accessible on a shared drive.
