As a Document Management Assistant, you will be an important member of a dynamic team that provides cross-departmental support to members of the World Trade Center Health Program and be responsible for sorting medical documents and organizing them in a proprietary electronic management system. You will also be tasked with classifying and routing records of members. This is a tremendous opportunity to contribute and gain lifelong abilities.
Document Management Assistant Responsibilities
Assists in classifying, identifying, and routing records
Prepares and scans documents
Prepares documents for offsite storage and retention
Transmits facsimiles
Performs other duties as assigned
Supports the organization's quality program(s)
Requirements:
Document Management Assistant Requisition (Mailroom Specialist)
In office position
A significant portion of the day is spent reviewing and categorizing documents, determining their type, and indexing them to the correct member's account.
Experience in reviewing medical claims and medical records would be highly preferred. They should be able to identify a claim form and/or distinguish between medical documentation and a claim document.
IN OFFICE POSITION Dublin, Ohio office
Shift Options: Monday – Friday at Shift 8:00 – 4:30 EST
Document Management Assistant Qualifications
A High School diploma or GED is required.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN
Six (6) months of clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Mailroom and document management medical claims and medical records experience a plus
Good oral and written communication skills
PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
Strong organizational skills
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
