- Expertise in operating systems such as Red Hat Linux and Windows.
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Provide architectural guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the different technical and nontechnical teams to develop and implement robust cloud solutions.
- Select appropriate AWS services based on data, compute, database, or security requirements.
- Hands-on experience designing distributed systems and applications on the AWS Cloud.
- Identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on cloud infrastructure.
- Assess the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications as necessary.
- Educate on architectural principles and best practices on various technical levels.
- Ensure solutions and infrastructures align with TIERS’ security standards.
- Lead technical and design discussions to help speed of new technologies and practices.
- Working knowledge of storage and backup solutions provided by AWS.
- Experience ITIL - ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow.
- Experience managing Archer GRC.
- Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addresses, DNS, TCP/IP, and among other standard networking protocols.
- General knowledge of database software such are Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres etc.
- Knowledge of identity and access management as well as additional cybersecurity principles.
- Keep abreast of the newest cloud computing developments and work to improve the organization's cloud infrastructure.
