First Shift Details
Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:00 pm
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
*Increase in pay at FT status*
*Work 9.5 hrs/Paid for 10 hrs*
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for various machine operation and changeover activities. Your role is crucial in maintaining and improving the plant's performance in Safety, Quality, and Reliability (SQR), while adhering to our Customer 1st strategy.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Operate and maintain assigned machines and related equipment effectively and safely.
- Complete safety observations as assigned.
- Read and follow standard work procedures for assigned machines.
- Verify proper components at the workstation before starting a job.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Operate vertical bar machines to produce electrical connectors.
- Conduct quality checks of parts using gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
- Package finished parts.
Required Skills
- Blueprint reading experience is a must; ensure your resume reflects this skill.
- Minimum of 2 years of RECENT machine operation experience.
- Proficient in using gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
- Strong math skills.
- Able to stand, lift, and bend for 8-10 hours per day.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
