Electrical Test Engineer
Position Summary: This role entails conducting electrical assessments on a Client battery charging device conforming to Aerospace specifications, working closely with a Senior Electrical Engineer. Moreover, it necessitates aiding in the formulation of the Automated Test Procedure (ATP) essential for the production evaluation of the aforementioned battery charger product.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical Engineer to own and drive the Electrical qualification testing for our aerospace program.
- Facilitate the unit-under-test and test equipment to the certification labs
Work with the test technicians on qualification tests - Compile all test data into a report
- Implementing an electrical testing strategy to support an Aerospace validation initiative.
- Orchestrating the scheduling and evaluation of products at external testing facilities, overseeing test equipment transportation, supervising tests, and scrutinizing test findings.
- Engaging in the design phase of electronic or mechanical prototypes for testing apparatus, procuring necessary components and tools, and maintaining comprehensive records regarding applications and maintenance.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a testing environment.
- Proven track record in liaising with external labs for qualification testing support.
- Preferable background in Military/Aerospace operations.
- Proficient in computer operations and adept at data analysis.
- Familiarity with LabVIEW programming is advantageous.
Physical Demands: While fulfilling job responsibilities, the employee may be required to intermittently stand, walk, sit, manipulate objects, reach, ascend/descend stairs, bend, kneel, crouch, speak, or listen. There may be occasions necessitating the lifting and/or moving of objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
