Instructor- CNC Machine Operators

Nesco Resource is looking for CNC Instructors in Waterbury, CT.  Instructor will be teaching CNC Operator skills (Mill & Lathe) in a trade school environment on a part-time basis.  7:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday- Friday. Hourly pay is $27.00/hour for right candidate.
 
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage, organize, and teach CNC Operation (Mill & Lathe)
• Create syllabi, course materials, and assignments to support course learning outcomes
• Ensure that students achieve course learning outcomes as defined in the syllabus
• Responsible for utilizing diverse instructional strategies in response to student learning style
• Responsible for increasing student retention, success and completion

Required Education:

• Associate's Degree and CT Teaching Certificate preferred.  

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office proficient.
• Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences.
• Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.

Preferred Skills & Abilities Required:

• Experience: At least 5 years' work experience directly related to the teaching of CNC Machine Operation Mastercam (Mill & Lathe).
• Experience training machinists on Haas CNC machines

Preferred Experience:

• Prefer technical school, community college or vocational school teaching experience.

• Haas Simulator Programming (Mill & Lathe)
• Haas CNC Mill Operation (1 student project)
• Haas CNC Lathe Operation (1 student project)
