Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
The System Integration and Test (I&T) Lead position will be responsible for all efforts supporting development of the Project ASAP/HAMMER advanced missile system to ensure technical excellence and mission success. This individual will perform both technical and programmatic oversight duties covering a broad range of I&T technologies and activities, to include: subsystem integration and test, both ground and flight system testing, lead and/or support coordination of laboratories and test ranges, data analysis and preparation of test related documentation. Close coordination with multiple laboratories, facilities, and teams is necessary. The position is responsible for supporting program personnel to meet all commitments including technical performance, schedule and cost for internal (i.e., IRAD, B&PE, Overhead, etc.) and external contractual commitments involving I&T.
Primary duties will be to drive technical excellence and mission success through daily interaction with all program technical leads and IPTs. Responsible for development of integration and test (I&T) requirements and plans, and coordination and execution of tests. This includes laboratory tests and HWIL through subsystem and system ground tests and through flight testing. Will work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop an approach that demonstrates TRL maturity through flight test. Success criteria will include technical achievement, schedule and cost, as well as managing team responsibilities and tasking.
Demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and excellent oral and written communications skills are a must. This individual will communicate technical status and issues internally to program and functional leadership, as well as externally to customers. Works closely with the technical leads on program to ensure appropriate staffing and resources and makes certain that appropriate reviews are conducted to ensure engineering excellence.
Must be able to work with other Departments (e.g. Field Test Operations, Engineering Labs, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Production Operations, Quality, Business Development, etc) to ensure overall program success. Responsible for oversight of one or more suppliers who will perform some integration and testing activities. Will interface with established customers and suppliers as well as assess potential new opportunities and technologies for applicability to the Operational System. Candidate must be comfortable coordinating with various groups to ensure program requirements are being met and in support of various test activities.
Experience with missile systems including launch systems and targeting/fire control elements is preferred. Technical skills should include knowledge of requirements development, risk identification and management, system design and test, modeling and simulation, HWIL, ground and flight test planning and execution, TM/FTS development and certification, and test anomaly resolution.
Domestic travel and some and foreign travel will be required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field is required.
Experience with missile systems including launch systems and targeting/fire control elements
Active secret clearance preferred, willing to consider candidates with a previously held active clearance. Interim secret clearance required to start position.

Experience with government fuze boards
Prior CAM experience
Level 4: BS 8-10 YRS or MS 6-8 YRS
