Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday)
Responsibilities:
Loading and Unloading: Handle the loading and unloading of materials within the warehouse or storage facility.
Equipment Operation: Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move materials to and from aircraft, trucks, trains, and within the storage area.
Inventory Management: Verify incoming deliveries, label products, and maintain an updated inventory record.
Returns Handling: Process returns by completing necessary documentation and communication.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure material handling equipment is well-maintained through regular inspections.
Collaboration: Work with internal departments to locate missing packages, correct delivery errors, and replace damaged products.
Skills and Qualifications:
Physical Stamina: Frequent heavy lifting requires physical strength and coordination.
Organizational Skills: Sort and manage inventories accurately.
Basic Math Skills: Count and measure quantities precisely.
Experience: Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a related position. (0-2 years)
Communication: Strong communication skills for collaboration.
Attention to Detail: Be precise in labeling, inventory tracking, and handling procedures.
Remember that Material Handlers typically work under immediate supervision and follow established guidelines.
