Location : Altamonte Springs
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 6AM to 2:30 PM
Duties:
- Measure and cut multiple diameter and lengths of rope for production
- Measure and mark with accuracy appropriate points on rope for production
- Use hands, fingers and tools to manipulate rope during the splicing process
- Ensure products are accurate in length and splice every time
- Seize ends after loop is made using string, hands and tools
- Dip and coat ropes per order using hands and wearing protective clothing, gloves and air mask
- Ability to tie appropriate knots using hands and fingers for soft shackle production
- Count, inspect, sort and pack final products for shipping
- Shipping and receiving using UPS world ship
- Warehouse duties to include pulling stock and raw materials and replacing stock and raw materials on shelves
- Ability to safely use hand tools, including scissors, cutting blades, heat gun and hammers or mallets
- One or more years working with hands in a production environment
- Mechanical ability a plus
- Basic knowledge of reading English, writing and basic math
- Must be organized, efficient, and self-motivated
- Excellent attendance a must
- Ability/Want to be Forklift trained/certified
